While most Molger walnut finish is being discontinued in 2009, the new birch Molger collection works better than ever with the rest of the IKEA collection. We’ve touched on the new finish a while back. I want to talk about more today since we have got tons of new designs in addition to all the old Molger walnut collection in the last few months.

One of the hottest Molger product in the past was Molger Bath organizer. There is a similar version at Bed bath and beyond sells for three times as much. Now, the new birch color works with other bath finish so you can get the completely bath room to match!

One of the new designs I like about the birch series is the varies sized shelving units with mirror back. No matter how big or small your bathroom is, adding one of those shelves can give you instant storage as well as accessories.

Few things set Molger apart from other series:
Airy and open design (None of the molger pieces has doors)
Solid birch (Very few pieces of IKEA furniture comes with solid wood. Most of them are made with pressed wood)
Affordable Price (molger has a real good price. You will have hard time to find the same amount of wood with that kind of price tag from home improvement stores.)
