Don’t you just love the yellow tags around the store when you go visit IKEA? You can never predict what you will find that day during the winter/summer sales. What most people don’t know is the deals are better after the sale! That is if you would risk the chance to never get it! Because most sale items at IKEA are discontinued articles, they have to get rid of them and make room for new articles. Summer and Winter sales are the best chance for stores to move those articles. But, not all articles will move. Which means some left overs will be marked down even more! So, when you see a yellow tag says “last chance” verses “sales” next time, pad yourself on the shoulder for be patient. You might just found a better deal!

How many decent deal have you got from last promotion? I’ve got none and I even work there. All of those fabulous 49 cents floors were gone in the first three hours in our store and the pot set were also gone before noon. I thought I had plenty of time to grab a set myself after having lunch with my hubby. Not! I guess I’ll have to think about something as a good Christmas gift.

Good deal don’t last long. Luckily though, good deals always come along. The next huge sale will be Nov. 8-11. We don’t even know what will be the luck items yet so keep your eyes open too! No matter what it is, it will be good.
